What Are We Learning?
Reading: The children will use a combination of Bug Club and Class Novels to develop reading skills within class. We would encourage children to read for enjoyment at home daily to promote learning.
Writing: Children will use a combination of Tools for Writing, Nelson Spelling, Talk for Writing and Storyline to promote a love of writing and to develop skills throughout the school year.
Numeracy: In Numeracy we will be building our children’s number knowledge through the use of Maths Mastery and problem solving strategies. We would encourage you to work with your children on their times tables if they are not yet confident on these.
