P7-6 Class Information Leaflet
IDL Topic – Water. During this topic the class will develop their views about values such as fairness, equality, love, caring, sharing and human rights. We will investigate water
usage, clean water and explore through investigation methods to clean and conserve
water. This will include significant outdoor learning opportunities, taking advantage of
the local environment.
Numeracy & Mathematics – We continue to develop our mental maths knowledge and skills, alongside exploring, ordering, comparing and carrying out calculations with fractions.
Literacy – The class are enjoying reading their class novel ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ by Michael Morpurgo and ‘Mr Majeika’ by Humphrey Carpenter. We are extending our vocabulary, identifying writing techniques and building compression skills.
