JLB’s Parent Council is very parent friendly and is a great opportunity to become involved!
The Scottish School (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 gives parents the right to receive information about their children’s education and to be represented and have their views expressed through the Parent Council.
The role of our Parent Council will be to :
- Support the school in its work with pupils
- Represent the views of all parents
- Encourage links between the school, parents, pupils, pre school groups and the wider community
- Report back to the Parent Forum
Our current Parent Council members are;
